    Damen Naval is seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to manage ILS projects for our naval vessels. Your primary goal will be to enhance the availability and operational readiness of our ships while minimizing lifecycle costs. You will oversee various ILS activities, including maintenance plans, technical documentation (S1000D), supply support (S2000M), and training. Collaborating with multiple disciplines within the organization, you will ensure timely delivery of high-quality ILS products and services, contributing to customer satisfaction and the strategic development of our ILS technology roadmap.
    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
    In this role, your responsibilities will include:Conduct ILS-analyses such as Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) and other ILS-topics.Study and report on the reliability and maintainability of naval equipment.Collaborate with the technical design and procurement departments and report to the Project Manager ILS.Manage ILS products, including purchase support, maintenance/LSA (including RAM and LCC calculations), supply support, technical documentation, training, and transfer of technology.Ensure compliance with company and end-user requirements.Deliver ILS products and services on time, within budget, and according to relevant ILS standards.Assist in drafting and reviewing ILS proposals and improving ILS products, processes, and methodologies.Prepare ILS training materials for technical equipment and naval products.Prepare budgetary offers and project cost estimations.Manage configuration and data.Study and apply technical regulations and drawings for each project.
    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
    We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or related fieldExtensive knowledge and experience in ILS and the development and execution of ILS packages within a technical and/or MoD environment, or equivalent maintenance experience in an engineering environment.Experience working in multifunctional and multicultural teams and environments.Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and verbal; proficiency in additional languages like German and Spanish is an advantage.Preferably a naval background or a strong affinity with the naval environment and culture.Familiar with asset management.Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.     In this role, your responsibilities will include:Deliver high-quality engineering work within established timeframes and budgets, adhering to relevant quality standards.Develop and describe standards and working methods to improve processes and methodologies.Support the engineering of outsourced packages, design checks, and design reviews.Ensure full compliance with applicable requirements and specifications imposed by regulatory bodies and clients.Integrate vendor and subcontractor information and perform technical evaluations of quotations.Collaborate closely with internal departments, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and owners to integrate delivered components and systems into ship design.Skills & experience
    We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:Bachelor or Master degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering, or relevant ship structures experience with secondary vocational education (MBO-4+).Minimum of three years of experience as a Structural Analyst in the shipbuilding or offshore industry.Familiarity with ship class calculations and tools such as DNV-GL Nauticus Hull, LR-SSC, or BV MARS2000.Proficiency in FEM modelling and analysis software such as ANSYS, NX, or FEMAP, and CAD systems such as NUPAS (3D), 3DX, or Catia.Competencies: creative problem-solving skills, accuracy, decisiveness, efficiency, and ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.Good command of the Dutch and English language both written and verbal.Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.What we offer
