THE ROLE
As Test & Integration Engineer you will be part of the Test & Integration team within the assigned project and is managed by the Integration & Test manager. You are responsible for a certain part of the project test & integration program, and for the development and execution of the inspection plans production, testing and trials of the new build one-off naval vessels. As Test & Integration Engineer you will provide engineering reviews, general project support during production, tests, trials and drives the follow-up in case of deviations including the coordination to key suppliers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Set-up the Test & Integration program in line with project design, progress, overall project targets and timelines.
Prepare and execute the project inspection plan production and follow-up in case of deviations based on the master project plan, specifications, and delivery deadlines.
Develop, execute, and coordinate test and trial plans based on the master project plan, specifications, delivery deadlines, this includes Type Tests, FAT's, HAT's, and SAT's.
Participate in cross-functional engineering reviews and approvals with project teams and suppliers, this includes all engineering disciplines and integration activities.
Monitor and report on progress, including performance of third parties and intervene when needed.
Deliver status reports during production, trials, and tests.
Work closely with engineering departments and develop plans on Testing & Integration.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Relevant technical bachelor degree (HBO) and experience in experience in project management, manufacturing, and commissioning of complex new build naval ships.
Experience in subcontract management and integration of complex mechanical, electrical and automation systems including combined propulsion installations for complex new built ships.
Expertise of a variety of engineering concepts and practices.
Good command of the Dutch, German and English language all written and verbal.
Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.

De rol
Als Secretaresse van een scheepsbouwproject ondersteun je een projectteam dat betrokken is bij het ontwerp en de bouw van marineschepen. In dit geval betreft dit het prestigieuze project voor ASWF Fregatten voor de Nederlandse en Belgische marine. We zoeken iemand die bij voorkeur 32 uur per week beschikbaar is, en minimaal drie dagen op kantoor in Schiedam kan werken.
Taken & verantwoordelijkheden
In deze rol heb je de volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:
Notuleren tijdens de vergaderingen, waarin doorgaans in het Engels zeer technische onderwerpen worden besproken.
Administratieve ondersteuning en assisteren bij het vullen van technische databases en het bewaken van afgesproken acties met de klant in het Project Informatie Management (PIM) systeem.
Assistentie bij team mobiliteit en onboarding en offboarding van personeel.
Beheren van de agenda's van de afdelingsmanagers: waarborgen dat bij de afspraken alle benodigde feiten en stukken compleet zijn.
Voorbereiden en behandelen van vertrouwelijke documenten en facturen.
Organiseren van zakelijke reizen inclusief reisdocumenten, jubilea, afscheidsrecepties e.d.
Coördineren van soft- en hardware aanvragen bij IT-afdeling, meeting ruimtes controleren en gereed maken, agenda beheer van de 10 meeting ruimtes voor het gehele ASWF-project.
Vaardigheden & ervaring
Wij zijn op zoek naar kandidaten met de volgende kwalificaties:
5+ jaar relevante ervaring als (directie)secretaresse of soortgelijke functie, waarvan meerdere jaren in de technische sector.
Ervaring met het verzamelen en interpreteren van gegevens en het samenstellen van managementinformatie.
Ervaring met het communiceren (woorden en geschrift) op board level (C-suite).
Gedegen MS Office ervaring in combinatie met andere systemen (SAP/SharePoint) en archiveringstechnieken.
Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift.
Een afgeronde MBO-4, liefst in een administratieve richting.
Proactief taken naar je toe trekken en ad-hoc oplossingen bedenken en uitvoeren.

Are you ready to make significant impact as Senior Systems Verification Engineer in the Verification, Validation, and Acceptance (VV&A) process within the prestigious F126 project at Damen Naval?
Damen Naval is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Systems Verification Engineer to join our Verification, Validation, and Acceptance (VV&A) team. In this role as Senior Systems Verification Engineer, you will play an essential role in ensuring compliance with set requirements, conducting document appraisals, design reviews, and overseeing the traceability of project deliverables from proposal to system acceptance. Reporting to the VV&A manager, you will collaborate with stakeholders to maintain the Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) and drive physical testing initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
As Senior Systems Verification Engineers your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with Test & Integration and other engineers on requirements engineering and Verification, Validation (V&V) activities, contributing to the overall scope of VV&A deliverables.
Establishing a complete set of System Requirements for the assigned system, decomposing transverse requirements and rules into system requirements.
Linking system requirements to the correct document placeholders, defining verification cases (VeCs) in the VCRM, and specifying test specifications (TeCs) for physical tests.
Executing the correct Means of Compliance for systems within your scope and providing evidence of compliance.
Contributing to the process of agreeing on system specifications and the VCRM for assigned systems with the customer, as well as the progressive acceptance process.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

THE ROLE
As a Naval Architect - Weight Control and Hydrostatics, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, safety, and performance of our vessels across all project phases. You'll contribute specialist knowledge to both the proposal and engineering teams, focusing on weight management and hydrostatic calculations throughout the design and production process.
Your work will include verifying general ship design calculations, running simulations using tools like PIAS, and ensuring that each design stays within defined weight budgets. You will be responsible for overseeing inclining tests and will liaise with clients, classification societies, subcontractors, and shipyards. In this role, you'll not only apply your technical expertise, but also help shape and further develop the discipline of weight control and hydrostatics within Damen Naval.
